Swedish fashion schools continue to churn out talented folks with a future in the business. Here is the graduation collection of Ida Nättorp, who lives in the West Coast city of Gothenburg. This photo was taken a few days ago at the Cutters’ Academy (Tillskärarakademin).
“ I’ve had a great interest in fashion since I was a small kid and I love to express myself with my design,” Ida explained in response to my e-mail query. “My goal is to have a fashion empire and to be able to live on my “art.” Now I’m combining work in a textile store with the planning of my upcoming collection.”
Ida also plans and produces fashion shows for other designers.
